Bella Ballet Fall Studio Opening
We are planning on in-person classes starting September 14, 2020. We have developed a comprehensive plan in order to be able to teach in person safely. Bella Ballet has taken all necessary steps to mitigate transmission of COVID-19, but there are still risks. The actions taken to help reduce these risks include but are not limited to COVID-19 staff certification and disinfection training, temperature taken at the door before entry, limited class sizes, commercial and health grade disinfecting systems, touchless hand sanitation stations, air purification, and a closed lobby.
Due to our incredible families and their unbelievable loyalty, our tuition prices will remain the same for the 2020-2021 year for current families. We appreciate your patronage and sticking with us during such a difficult time.
Biotech Disinfecting System
Healthcare Grade Cleaning
In addition to our disinfecting system, we have added time in between classes in order to disinfect with hospital-grade cleaning products to ensure that any surface that could be touched is adequately sanitized. All staff members will have completed a COVID-19 Certification to ensure knowledge of the new procedures, rules, and best practices to maintain a safe environment for our staff and students.
Arriving at Bella Ballet
When you arrive at Bella Ballet, we ask that you come with your child no more than 10 minutes prior to your child's scheduled time. We ask that your child is already dressed and ready for class. We will have the outside area set up with socially distance markers or you are welcome to wait in your car. Masks must be worn at all times in the alcove in front of the studio by parents and children. When it is time for class, a Bella Ballet staff member will ask for one child at a time and take their temperature through a contactless thermometer. If their temperature is below 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit, they will then be escorted with a Bella team member and come through the lobby doors, and go to the hand sanitation station. All children must use hand sanitizer upon arrival. After hand sanitizer is administered through our contactless system, your child will then be escorted to her designated dance area. Each child will have their very own "empowerment area" that is safe for them to express themselves! Once there, she can remove her mask and clip it to her leotard. We will require all children to wear a pacifier clip on their leotard to clip their mask to during class time. We have redesigned our curriculum and class structure in order to accommodate children staying in their area.
Limited Class Sizes
We have limited class sizes in order to accommodate social distancing. Enrollment is first come first serve; therefore we suggest registering for the class of your choice as soon as possible in order to guarantee enrollment.
Our lobby will be closed for families for the time being. We kindly ask that you wait in your car during your child's class. Our classes will be able to be viewed on your mobile device from the comfort of your vehicle, so you do not miss out on your child's class!
In the event your child will not dance without you in the lobby, we will allow a few specific socially distant spots for one parent only to be able to be while we help to motivate your child into class positively.
Parent Pass/Child Safety
While taking our roll call, each student will receive a sticker and it will be placed on their upper back on their leotard. Parents will receive a mobile-friendly pass that directly correlates to your child's sticker.
When its time for pick up, each child will be escorted to their parent outside. Their sticker will be scanned and your pass will be scanned in order to ensure each child is leaving Bella Ballet safely.
In the event your child needs to use the bathroom during class, your child will be escorted by her teacher to the bathroom. We kindly ask that you have your child use the restroom before they come to the studio however, they are children and will absolutely be able to use the bathroom if need be.
Princess Ballet Classes
All of our princess ballet classes from September-December will not have tutus and accessories in order to limit contact points. When it becomes safe for these items to be used, we can't wait to bring them back!
We ask that your child comes to the studio completely ready to go as their will not be the ability to change. We are not requiring tights to be worn in order to help with the process of changing quickly in the car if need be.
Air Purifying System
We will be using commercial grade air purification systems through the studio in order to purify the air.
